Counselling

On delivery of all documents to the Debtors' Ombudsman, the client´s financial situation will be reviewed. Counselling includes matching financial capabilities and financial obligations and looking for ways to balance the two. Solutions can imply counselling, mediation in negotiation with creditors, assistance in applying for grace periods for loans or payment mitigation.

Documents to be delivered

• Your password to enter www.skattur.is or your latest Tax return or Tax Assessment notice either in print or electronically (PDF)
• Copies of your payslips from the last 3 months
• A declaration of consent for the collection of data, see here.
